Abigail + Wrigley=Best Friends

This past weekend we celebrated Wrigley's 3rd birthday. Since Wrigley's birthday falls smack dab in the middle of summer it has become tradition to celebrate her birthday by inviting our staff over for a mid-summer cookout/birthday celebration. Josh and I feel so fortunate to have a place in town that can serve as a much needed retreat for friends, family, and especially staff during the summer months. We love being able to provide them with a "home" on their off time where they can relax and enjoy fellowship with their peers.

Although Wrigley is no longer the queen of the house and has had to pass her crown down to the new "princess" in town, she will always hold a very special place in our hearts. I must say there was debate in the beginning as to whether or not Wrigley would ever warm up to the fact that Abigail is now a permanent fixture to the Smithson household but after months of persuasion via Abigail feeding Wrigley treats I can honestly say they are now truly two peas in a pod.
